We are looking for teachers that have teacher qualifications and experience working with children to prepare them for their next level. Creating lesson plans that are enriched with learning activities and fun is a priority. South Fellowship Early Learning Center is a faith-based child care center that focuses on the development of children for future success. We believe that each child is wonderful and unique and we desire to support and encourage their areas of development by providing an environment which promotes warm, nurturing and positive interactions and lots of opportunities for learning.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meeting the daily needs of the children
  • Lesson planning and prep
  • Implementation of lesson plans and observations
  • Daily organization and cleaning of the classroom consistent with health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other educators
  • Track children’s progress and report to parents
  • Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche

Skills/Requirements:

  • Lead Teacher qualifications
  • Early Childhood Professional Credential 2.0 or above
  • Proven experience as a Teacher
  • Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methods
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
  • Excellent communication and instructional and care skills
  • Nurturing, friendly and reliable
  • Balance between creative and a practical acumen
  • Certification in CPR/1st Aid and Universal Precautions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay:   $19.00 – $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 hours per week
