We understand that toddlers are filled with wonder and learn best through exploration and play. The Tiny Tot classroom gives the children freedom to investigate their environment through different areas of learning. The children continue to use baby sign language but are continually encouraged to use their words as their vocabulary begins to explode! Engaging conversations can continually be heard in this room.
Twice a day they venture outside to our Toddler playground which is designed for this age. The teachers develop weekly lesson plans that align with our centers Zoo-phonics and creative curriculum. We work on self-help skills, encouraging circle time participation, assisting with meal clean up, responding to simple instructions, and participate in fun and educational activities.
Our teachers create a faith-based environment within each classroom by implementing prayer, introducing bible stories and teaching the character building concepts of the fruit of the spirit.
